Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has been created due to company growth.  My client a global pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Production Manufacturing Technician based in Hertfordshire where you will be working in a GMP clean room manufacturing environment making drug products / compounding as allocated on the production planning system to cGMP, current medical device regulations (MDD/MDR) and MDSAP, whilst adhering to H&S legislation and EH&S requirements.

The hours of work are:

• Monday to Friday 6.00 am to 2.00 pm 1 week and then 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm the following week alternating on a weekly basis

Day to day duties include:

• Ensuring all manufacturing tasks are completed and all activities are carried out in compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs and H&S regulations.
• Monitoring inventory levels in the Cleanroom, and report any potential risks to ensure the manufacturing and packing schedules can be maintained.
• Completing ERP transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Managing your individual training files and ensuring all tasks undertaken have been accompanied by the required training. This includes all on-line Quality, EHS and Corporate training.
• Providing support to other departments, as directed.

This is a 6 months contract which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent but everything is dependent on the candidate and the business performance.  The PAYE rate is £15.47 per hour.

Shift allowance will be added on top of your hourly rate which is £51.43 per week.

Skills:  To apply for the role of GMP Production Manufacturing Technician you will have the following:

• Ideally Pharmaceutical / medical device GMP production / manufacturing / operator experience, in a clean room environment.
• PC literate and numerate
