My client a global manufacturing company are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Assistant based in Somerset on a 3-6 months contract.  You will provide a robust and accurate administrative support to the Quality Assurance department ensuring compliance to various quality standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22716, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, RSPO and BRC systems.

Day to day duties and responsibilities include: 

• Writing, reviewing, scanning, distributing and filing / archiving of completed Quality System documents.
• Dealing with raw materials and supporting batch release.
• Ensuring that all administrative activities within the Quality Assurance department are compliant.
• Maintenance of document control system-paper and electronic.
• Supporting with CAPA’s and Deviations.
• Supporting the QA team in dealing with customer complaints.
• Being part of internal and external audits.

Skills: To apply for the role of Quality Assurance Assistant you will have the following:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific subject (flexible).
• Experience in the Quality Assurance of personal care, cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceuticals / medical devices, or a related regulated environment (GXP compliance).
• QA GMP Quality Systems experience.
