My client a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company are looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Coordinator where you will be managing the drug orders for patients.  This will include coordinating the prescription management process, patient stock levels for medical & ancillary products, process orders for delivery to home patients, and undertake patient account management in line with standard operating procedures, service specifications and operational KPIs.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Responding to inbound calls and initiating outbound calls/email correspondences (including shared inbox management) to patients & customers in order to process stock orders and resolve patient queries.
  • Activating new patients onto the service and coordinating the installation delivery in line with customer requirements.
  • Accurately entering prescriptions and the directions on the Patient Management System.
  • Processing patient orders, organising collections and processing sales returns.
  • Managing the administration (e.g. tracking, filing, requesting, archiving) of physical & electronic pharmacy records including patient prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner.  
  • Liaising with third-party partners (e.g. transport, nursing, technical services) to facilitate and deliver patient treatments.

This is a full time permanent job opportunity based in Cheadle paying an excellent salary of £23,000 - £25,500 per annum and great benefits such as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays on top, Pension, Life insurance, Childcare vouchers and much more.

Skills: To apply for the role of Customer Service Coordinator you will have:

  • Successful experience in customer service or patient-centric roles.
  • Previous experience of demonstrating strong administration skills in high volumes.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills (e.g. professional telephone manner).
  • Good IT proficiency (including Microsoft Office).
