Your role as a Senior Quality Assurance Pharmacist based in Stockport will involve managing the pharmacy team and the day-to-day Pharmacy operations within the site, in line with GPhC and Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) standards.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the execution of the day-to-day pharmacy operations including prescription management and dispensing in line with operational KPIs and standards, whilst maintaining patient safety.  
• Ensuring designation of Responsible Pharmacist to meet dispensing activity needs during all operational hours.  
• Responsible for effectively managing the pharmacy resources (including out of hours service, locums, and contractors) to ensure effective service delivery in line with operational demands.
• Identifying and mitigating risks (e.g. clinical, EH&S, Quality) within the pharmacy operations, and provide input to the work load plan.
• Managing the pharmacy team effectively.
• Ensuring effective implementation of the pharmacy training matrix, address competency gaps, deliver pharmacy-related training and provide subject matter expertise to the onsite customer service and warehouse teams.
• Assisting with the creation of, and ensure adherence to the pharmacy-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

This is a 12 months contract role working Monday to Friday 9.00 am-5.30 pm with flexibility.
The PAYE hourly rate is £31.53 per hour.
