Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has been created due to company growth.  My client a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Production Manufacturing Technician based in Kent where you will be working in a GMP clean room manufacturing environment making drug products / compounding as allocated on the production planning system to cGMP, current pharmaceutical regulations, whilst adhering to EH&S requirements.

The hours of work are:

• Monday to Friday 6.00 am to 2.00 pm.

Day to day duties include:

• To routinely operate process equipment and execute manufacturing instructions to produce high quality drug products.
• To ensure safe, compliant, smooth & efficient execution of your assigned responsibilities in accordance with your training.
• To maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping within all GMP areas.
• To use understanding of processes and equipment to highlight abnormal events, support day to day trouble shooting, identify and progress improvement activities within the bounds of GMP.
• To be a flexible and committed learner, continually developing skills to enable cross-skilling across multiple work areas and products.
• To work as a flexible, motivated member of the CMT team - responding positively to changes in demand and priority.
• To follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standard work instructions (SWIs) applicable and in which you have been trained.
• To actively participate in continuous improvement activities, initiating ideas and taking ownership for actions.

This is a 6 months contract which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent dependent on the candidate and business performance based in Kent.  The PAYE rate is £12.56 to £14.76 per hour.

Skills: To apply for the role of GMP Production Manufacturing Technician you will have the following:

• Ideally Pharmaceutical / medical device GMP production / manufacturing / operator experience, in a clean room environment. 
• PC literate and numerate.
