Your role as a Pharmaceutical Production / Manufacturing Manager based in Norfolk will involve managing the operation of the production line to ensure it is running smoothly, carried out in a cGMP and ISO compliant manner and in accordance with the companies Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will have direct employee management of a large team from 20 to 40 employees per shift.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Supporting the department activities for the delivery and reviewing of change controls, CAPA’s, internal audit actions, TCU, SOP’s etc.
- Identifying and delivering process improvement activities and analytical reviews.
- Absence and performance management across the team and supporting the recruitment process.
- Co-ordinating support for break downs etc and escalating as per company escalation process.
- Overtime delivery and verification.
- Overall responsibility for Shift performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained and supporting the Quality department as and when required.
- Raw material management.
This is a 12 months contract which the client will review for a possible extension or go permanent however everything is dependent on the individual and business performance. The hourly PAYE rate is £45.00 to £49.86 per hour.
The hours of work are either:
Option 1: On a weekly rotational basis Monday to Friday 6.00 am – 2:00 pm and then 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm
Or
Option 2: Working on a 24/7 shift 6.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Skills: To apply for the role of Production / Manufacturing Manager you will have the following:
- Degree or equivalent in a Science or Engineering subject with employee manufacturing management experience.
- Ideally pharmaceutical or related scientific manufacturing experience.
- Strong management skills.
- LEAN and 6S.
